Day 10: Monte Aloia

It was hard to find a good place to sleep in the dark, but after driving over the border to Spain we found a sign to a nature reserve called Parque Natural do Monte Aloia. On this roadtrip we learned that nature reserves were the best places to stay for the night, always quiet and lonely, and easy to find everywhere. Monte Aloia was one of my favorite places to wake up on the whole trip, as we could take a short hike in the morning, and in the end we found this little waterhole with fresh water from the mountains, perfect for a morning dip to start the day fresh! We returned to this same place for the next night, as we spent the day back in Portugal instead of going up north in Spain.
