We got up early and drove by the west coast through some beautiful places on some islands south west of Amsterdam. Stopped in Ouddorp by a beach, it was a cloudy morning but still a stunning beach and I felt so happy when we found this place without searching for it.
We drove to Middleburg for a late breakfast. More like lunch I guess. After that we entered Belgium. Not much to see really. Roads were poor. It was rainy and we stopped at a small town called Neuwpoort just to take a few pictures and get something to drink.
About France and Paris. We decided to not go to Paris after all. Not that I didn't want to see Paris, but it felt like we had too little time, just one night and then Normandie the next morning. We wanted to get a place to sleep near Normandie instead so I booked a cheap place in Caen.
The roads in France -we didn't exactly enjoy stopping all the time to take tickets or pay in tolls. The tolls where literally everywhere, stopping us after 10 km sometimes on the highway. Well this day we drove like 801 km!
